How do I reset the flame height range on my lighter?

You would just need a small screwdriver and a set of small pliers. Remove the screw on your adjustment wheel (may be found on the side or directly on top of the wheel) and keep that to the side in a safe area (you will need this screw later on). After removing the wheel from the lighter, set it aside, then using the pliers adjust the regulator up or down ΒΌ of a turn; you can reference the adjustment wheel for the correct direction. Once you are confirm that the lighter is working as desired, reinstall the wheel onto the valve and screw it in place. Do not over tighten the screw as it can damage the valve or the fuel wheel.

How do I clear out clogged burners?

Step 1: Using a soft cloth or paper towel and alcohol, clean any residue from the burner. Allow 2-3 minutes for the area to dry.

Never attempt to ignite a lighter that has been cleaned with alcohol before allowing it to properly dry. Do not use harsh chemicals such as alcohol on the EZ-View fuel window as it can cause damage to the lighter.

Step 2: Use low-pressure air (such as an electronic duster) to blow out debris from the burner. Aim the nozzle directly into the burner and blow out for 1-2 seconds at a time. After 2-3 bursts of air, it should have cleared out any debris.

How do I create an RMA or service request for the Limited Lifetime Warranty?

Create an account by clicking Login or Register at the top left hand corner of the home page.

After you have logged in or registered, go to the warranty tab located on the top menu bar and click on Warranty Information. Here you will find our warranty policy and step-by-step instructions on how to create the service request. At the bottom of the page, you will find a link that will take you to create a new service request.

How do I register my product?

o Registering your product is not necessary; your Xikar item is covered by the Xikar Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Are Xikar products allowed to go through TSA?

Torch lighters are not permitted on board aircraft in your carry-on or checked baggage, as TSA will confiscate them. Soft flame lighters are permitted in checked and carry-on baggage. Confiscated items are NOT covered under the Xikar Limited Lifetime Warranty.

A case will be created and a prepaid label will be sent within 24-48 hours of your inquiry. All returns must be in new, unused condition with the original packaging and must be communicated within 10 days of receipt.

How long is the shelf life of my butane/humidification?

Humidification: Humidification jars/bars need to be replaced when there is discoloration on beads (yellow/green/blue). We recommend PG solution to be used at all times to prolong the life of your humidifier.

Butane: Your can of butane can last for up to 5 years in a controlled temperature environment; do not keep your butane and/or lighter in extreme hot or cold conditions or in direct sunlight as it could lead to performance issues and/or damages.
