I am a 42 year old IT Manager for the Daniel Island Company in Charleston, South Carolina. Charleston is a terrific place to live due to both the warm climate and the friendly people. I have two great kids, a wonderful wife, and two insane dogs. One of those dogs, a dachshund / basset-hound mix, is my main cigar companion. She sits with me in the back yard as I enjoy my cigars or goes on long neighborhood walks with me when i smoke. Because of the stressful nature of my job, I really look forward to the peaceful times when I can enjoy a good cigar, relax, and think about the world. One of the the things I think can ruin those quiet times is when a bad cut or light messes up a great cigar causing it to unravel or burn unevenly. That is why I have spent a good amount of time finding cutters and lighters that work well. I started smoking cigars just before the big cigar boom of the '90s and have kept with it ever since.
