The evening chill, the turning leaves and quickly setting sun are nature's signs of my favorite season.
But the most exciting signs of Fall are the raging campfires , the rockin' tailgate BBQs and playoff baseball. After all, what good is your favorite season if you don't enjoy it with your family, friends and a great cigar?!

Before you set your fantasy picks, set your humidor!
We'll admit it.
We trust our humidification systems so much that we sometimes forget to check our spare humidor's humidity levels for months at a time. The irony of set-it-and-forget-it is that sometimes we forget completely!
Now, in Kansas City (where humidity can be quite high at times) an abandoned humidor with the right system can sustain the general target of 65% to 70% relative humidity with ease.
However, the seasons change is a welcome, forceful reminder that temperature and humidity are both important - but not mutually exclusive - in proper cigar storage. Consistency is everything.
Now is the time to check those cigars in the garage, basement, spare room or locker. If you want to ensure their survival through some dry winter months, get a good humidifier (pictured below) to be sure those puros are going to be in the right conditions for the next few months.
Admit it. You'll forget to check that stash of cigars until your 15 closest friends come to your Superbowl party in January. Set your humidor now so if your team isn't hoisting the Lombardi Trophy, at least you and your friends will enjoy cigars so good you'll forget all about it.
