Members of the Month: IRAQ CIGAR CLUB 
Recently we received a letter from XIKAR friend Scott Self. He is currently stationed in Iraq. Scott and his comrades formed a cigar club to enjoy a smoke and a taste of home. When we heard they were in need of some quality accessories, we were glad to help them out.
The club was kind enough to send us these great photos. They are a constant reminder of how grateful we are of the men & women in our armed forces who fight to protect our freedom.

Here's the thing about a lifetime warranty: it gives us a change to understand problems with our design, or with the manufacture (whether the vendor or a particular run). When there IS a problem, we know right away, and we can fix it. So "continuous improvement" is not a platitude, it is a way of survival. To wit: the cutter sold today is far superior to the one we originally launched in 1998.
Also, a lifetime warranty enables us to develop a lifetime relationship with you. Through this we MUST show how serious we are about our products and about our service. In other words, it forces us to put our money where our mouth is.
The only drawback I see in the warranty is that sometimes people have to use it. And that's a hassle. Sometimes at XIKAR is about 1%. And because we're very public about the warranty, naturally that 1% can and should be public about its use. That publicity can be good and can be bad. Either way, we're willing to stand up and be accountable to you for the money you spend on our products. And either way, we read and appreciate the feedback.
