This month’s member is Marty Piacitelli. We thought we had heard it all when it came to uses for the Xi cigar cutter, but this story is an original!

“Just like to let you know, I have just recently purchased a used Lobster Boat here in Maine, Well to keep this short and to the point. We went to pick up the vessel for a three-hour steam home, well half way into the trip we noticed the bilge pump was coming on way to often. Well we stopped the vessel and found one of our drainage lines were leaking very badly. We had a toolbox but we had absolutely nothing to cut 3/8 inch tubing, after frantically looking for a way to cut it I pulled out my Xikar cutter and it actually cut the tubing, we were able to make the fix and come home. Normally my cutter is home next to my humidor, but I had dropped my Xikar punch and the blade got damaged so I had luckily been carrying my Xikar cutter. Thanks for a GREAT PRODUCT!!”
